Pathologically, it is involved in damage of connective tissue at pulmonary emphysema and rheumatoid arthritis. Form: Lyophilized from 50 mM acetate buffer pH 5.5 containing 0.25 M NaCl. Purity: More that 95% in SDS-PAGE. Two major and two minor bands in 7% PAGE at pH 4.5 both enzymatically active.
